ROASTED PARSNIP SOUP £6 (v)
A warming winter soup with roasted parsnip, shallots and garlic with a good quality vegetable stock and a hint of fresh rosemary. Blended to silky smooth and finished with a little cream. Served with a little pot of freshly made garlic croutons to sprinkle on just before serving (all starters come with a box of rustic bread and whipped herb butter)

Made with local Coastal cheddar and Gruyere cheese – a rich and delicious classic delivered to you ready for its second bake which will result in a light but rich souffle smothered in a creamy / cheesy sauce bubbling away!

Something really special. A delicious chilled smoked salmon terrine wrapped in oak smoked salmon and served on a cucumber and dill pickle salsa garnish with fresh dill

The ultimate to start a really special celebration meal. Your own individual scallop shell filled with this French classic of seared scallops in a rich Gruyere cheese sauce made with white wine and cream and topped with fluffy potato ready for you to place into your oven to finish and serve to the table bubbling and delicious

MAIN COURSES
CREAMY TARRAGON CHICKEN £16 (GF)
Breast of free range chicken in a classic French dish with a white wine, fresh tarragon and parsley sauce with garlic and shallots. We use a good quality chicken stock to create this sauce. We add peas to ours and you can choose to have your dish served with a portion of fluffy rice or sauteed potatoes (quick fried ready for you to crisp up at home) and it comes with a side of our seasonal steamed and buttered vegetables.

A twist on the classic Duck a L’Orange – a delicious roasted leg of duck finished with a glaze made with honey, marmalade and Cointreau served on a bed of sweet potato mash and garlic butter green beans
CLASSIC BEEF BOURGUIGNON £18
A French classic. Slow cooked beef in red wine with smoked bacon, baby onions, mushrooms and carrots. Served with creamy mashed potatoes with a hint of roasted garlic and a helping of buttered peas.

A light and delicate steamed pudding. A hint of sweetness with fresh raspberries running through the compote. Coconut runs through the pudding itself. This is made with gluten free flour and a vegan butter and you literally would never know! It comes with a choice of dairy cream or the custard as per below but if you are vegan and you prefer a plant based alternative please let us know and we will arrange that for you.

A delectable chocolate dessert. Your own individual torte which is rich yet light at the same time. Sublime dark chocolate (we use a good quality dark chocolate 54%) torte laced with dark rum sits on an Amaretti crumb base. We serve with sharp berries to cut through the sweetness and comes with some double cream for pouring.
