Simply Gourmet Catering provided the most stunning BBQ food at my wedding at Beach Weddings Bournemouth. The food was incredibly tasting, beautifully presented and the portion sizes were great! We have had many compliments about our wedding and a huge amount was about how good the food was. Someone even told me it was the best wedding food that they had – I would have to agree (even though I couldn’t eat a lot of it (nerves/adrenaline) I was so disappointed)! The Tiffin Boxes went down incredibly well for the children too, most of the parents have searched on the internet for a Tiffin Box of their own since! Thank you again, we had the most wonderful day and filling our guests bellies was an important part for us.

A massive thanks to Melanie, Nadia and the team at Simply Events and Simply Gourmet Catering. From the minute we recommended this team to our clients, their service was impeccable. High levels of communication, fast responses to problem solving and wonderful tasting sessions which completed reassured us along the way. The service across the two day event was faultless and everyone raved about the food and service all weekend! We look forward to working with this amazing team again, all the best, The Blue Bay Events Team

I have known Melanie as a fellow wedding planner for over a decade but never had the opportunity to work with her so, given the chance with this Dorset based venue launch I headed up, I knew that she and her team were absolutely the right people for the job. I was not disappointed. Passionate from the off, they were highly professional, understood the brief quickly and easily, were very flexible where needed on timings and keen to work alongside me and the venue owners to produce a spot-on, seasonal menu to wow our discerning guest list of wedding & event planners. The food was a huge hit as was their wonderful team and the friendly, easy-going yet efficient & hard working attitude that I know Melanie and Nadia lead through example to their teams. Thank you so much.

Just to say a big fat thank you for last week. I truly could not have survived the evening without you. I cannot believe how relaxed everybody was and how much they enjoyed the evening. You were absolutely brilliant, the food fabulous and then at the end of the night it was if a fairy had cast her magic wand and the place was so clean and tidy it was if you hadn’t been. There is no way I would put on a future event without you involved, I now appreciate what having an event co-ordinator on board means

Thank you and the wonderful staff at Simply Gourmet for helping make Codestone’s ‘Hogwarts Christmas Ball’ a fantastic event this year. We have had lots of comments this year saying it was the best one yet and this goes down to the food being excellent, so I really have set my next year’s event to another level. I can’t believe you managed to do all that catering in a few hours and having to run across grass to get the food over to the hall, unbelievable. Your staff were brilliant and so polite with everything, I will be highly recommending Simply Gourmet to anyone who is looking to hold an event, thank you so much.

Simply Events did my 50th birthday party held at home. The Thai food was exceptional and their ability to blend in with the mood of the party was just brilliant. Everything from the moment we had the first meeting, to the communications, descriptions of the service and execution on the day was flawless. It made for a perfect party.

We would just like to say a HUGE thank you for yesterday, you made the whole afternoon run so smoothly and we were able to relax and enjoy the occasion so much more. We were all quite chilled in the morning before it all got underway and normally we would have been running round like headless chickens. The Canapés were delicious and the sweetie cart was so yummy!

We were both over the moon with the food over the weekend – it must have been such hard work to turn out such great quality food in a tent on a hot day like the Saturday! We had so many compliments from our guests which is exactly what we wanted. The BBQ on the Sunday was also perfect, just what we were looking for – great quality food but relaxed and informal. Again we had so many compliments, particularly about the fish skewers and Nadia, your desserts went down a storm!

As you know, the food was a huge part of our wedding and we were so proud to be able to serve such delicious fare – thank you so much!

Everybody loved the beautiful afternoon tea at our festival wedding at Wilkswood Wedding Venue over the weekend. Absolutely wonderful food makes for very happy guests! Thank you.

As a fairly new vegan eating out or at events can be a challenge to say the least but the food I was provided by this amazing team was so delicious and beautifully presented. The waiting staff were an absolute delight – attentive, polite and very well trained. I highly recommend Simply Gourmet.
